This painting is inspired by my love of the Impressionist art movement. Impressionist artists such as Claude Monet, were not trying to paint a perfect reflection of real life, but rather an “impression” of what things looked like to them. They tried to capture the ‘movement’ and life of what they saw and show it to us as if it were happening before our eyes.

I truly hope that this piece brings as much joy to a new collector as it did to me whilst painting it!
